Respect for Copyright

Cyber Play respects third-party intellectual property rights and expects the same from its users. In compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we maintain a structured process to receive, analyze and respond to copyright infringement notifications.

1. When to Send a DMCA Notice

If you are the owner (or authorized representative) of copyrighted work and believe Cyber Play has published material that violates your rights, you may send a DMCA notice requesting removal.

2. Notice Requirements (DMCA §512(c)(3))

Your notice must contain, mandatorily:

  1. Signature (physical or electronic) of the copyright owner or authorized representative
  2. Identification of the protected work you believe has been infringed (title, author, registration, if applicable)
  3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material — exact URL(s) on https://cyberplay.online where the content is published
  4. Your contact details — full name, postal address, email and phone
  5. Good-faith statement that the use was not authorized by the copyright owner, its representative or the law
  6. Statement of accuracy, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner

3. Where to Send

4. Response Time

  • Receipt confirmation: 2 business days
  • Analysis and decision: 5 business days
  • Infringing content, if confirmed, is removed within 48 hours

5. Counter-Notification (DMCA §512(g))

If you are the author/publisher of removed content and believe the removal was mistaken:

  1. Your signature (physical or electronic)
  2. Identification of removed material and where it was originally
  3. Statement under perjury that material was removed by mistake or misidentification
  4. Your full contact details
  5. Consent to jurisdiction of the county where Cyber Play is headquartered (or, for users outside Brasil, the residence of the account holder on Cyber Play)

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

Cyber Play maintains a policy of disabling accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright.

7. Fair Use

Cyber Play strives to ensure all original content respects fair use / legitimate citation rules, including:

  • Short excerpt quotes with credit attribution
  • Use of Creative Commons licensed or public domain images
  • Transformative use for journalistic, critical or educational purposes

If you believe we made inappropriate use of your work, contact us before a formal notice — we can often resolve amicably.

8. False Notices

Sending false or unfounded DMCA notices may result in civil and criminal liability. Only send if you are certain you are the owner of the infringed rights.
